In 2017, I documented the lives of people living with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) through both photography and a short  film. EDS is an inherited, chronic disorder affecting a person's collagen and connective tissues. Because it presents itself differently in every patient, EDS is often misdiagnosed.

 

I documented this from two perspectives: as someone who also suffers from this condition, and as someone who wants to raise awareness from those dealing with invisible illnesses such as EDS.
